For the past few years before our mother passed away, we, her children along with her grandchildren, have gotten together around June 27th to celebrate her birthday and rejoiced in a reunion as well. We would gather in the homes of Julio or Polin with the Communion Service officiated by Deacon Julio Castilleja |
| On June 24, 1999, we gathered in the home of Polin and Delia to celebrate the memory of our mother Adela and at this time together as a family decided to continue this tradition and to start a new one by coming together in the form of a Family Reunion in the honor of both our parents, Victorio and Adela. (Victorio’s birthday falls on June 15 and Adela’s on June 27th). |

| We held our first official Annual Castilleja Reunuion on June 23, 2001 in the home of Joe and Mercedes Gonzales in San Antonio. With the help of many family members, this event was a great success! Thanks be to God! |
| We truly hope everyone will make an effort to come together to celebrate our Beautiful Family once again in June 27-28, 2008 an informational newsletter will be sent out months prior to the event. |
